PokerWinners is our flagship site, and was originally designed as a poker community site, focussing on strategy, news, and promotions. However an over saturation in that area, along with a gap in the market for a reliable poker rankings system in the wake of recent e-gaming coverage, led to a clear direction, with online poker rankings as our main focus.
We have added thousands of the worlds top players to our rankings system, gathering millions of tournament results, and we feel we are now in a position to market our site more widely.
Profiles, Rankings, Leaderboards, and more are all running smoothly. National rankings are beginning to develop well with increased numbers, and multiple stories and plot lines are developing as we see players rise and fall across our measures.
Our main aim is to be the number one poker rankings site.
We will look to increase the emphasis on player profiles, adding links for twitch streams, staking stables, websites, etc, to make us more player focussed. One of our USPs over our main rivals is our mini rankings so we may look to increase the prominence of these also.
We have a huge amount of data on players, regarding what they play, where they play, and how much they win, lose, and rake, doing so. We aim to use this data to target our marketing, providing a more focussed approach.
Staking poker players was our first business, and we opened Pokerisk.com back in 2006, successfully sponsoring over 400 players across a five year period, before the ownership partnership was dissolved.
From this came PokerStaking.com, specialising in MTT players, and focussing on player game improvement through a variety of coaching and mentoring systems.
We currently stake only a small group of full-time players, running daily training sessions in both groups and one-to-one format. We analyse game selection, hand-histories, player statistics, and more to add value to our players.
Having spent a large portion of time on other projects we are looking to increase focus on PokerStaking.com with an increased team size.
